Mexican Salsa

A deliciously fresh and spicy salsa, perfect as an accompaniment to Mexican dishes or as a dip with tortillas.



Ingredients:
Makes about 2 1/2 cups
  • 1 can chopped tomatoes (400g)
  • juice of half a lime
  • 1/4 tsp cumin
  • 1/4 tsp salt
  • 1/2 tsp sugar
  • 1 tomato, roughly chopped
  • 1/2 onion, roughly chopped (about 1/4 cup)
  • 1/4 cup fresh coriander
  • 1 clove garlic
  • 1 jalapeño, roughly chopped
Directions:
Combine all the ingredients in a blender and blend until you get the salsa to the consistency you like. Refrigerate before serving.
